Im all for science. Really, I am. I found this entirely uncaptivating though. Honestly, who cares what a gas giant in another solar system is doing. What are the benefits from measuring anything about it? Seems like a waste of time at the moment. Granted, science is the act of measuring and observing, but pick your targets.

It would have been more interesting if they were trying to figure out the details of a world like our own, in another solar system.

To be honest this is just research for the sake of research. The only good that will come of this is that they will be able to refine the manner in which they can measure the temperatures off other planets, and thus measure the suitability of said planets for our own use. In other words, this research has minimal benefit to humanity.

are you mentally deficient? videos are NEVER registered. its YOUR software. so, whats that about not being able to figure out how to use a "damn crack" ?

ps, dont advertise other sites unless referencing something interesting.

ski, why do i have to iterate his words so u understand. hes telling ppl not to post videos that cause pop ups. the videos arent causing popups, his software is. i know you understand that much, but you dont seem to understand that he doesn`t. i may have just joined, but ive been a silent part of this community forever.

p.s. <3

i believe that`s what he`s saying. he was talking about his video software... you can`t get cracks for videos anyway.

not to mention the fact that you haven`t been here long as opposed to daver.

Est^^^^^^^ totally disagree with you, this is us learning to use our eyes still for the first time, and the benefits, as with all learning, are incalculable and infinite in scope, not to mention just around a corner you can`t see and don`t realize is coming up fast.

it annoys me to see someone witness our first look at an alien world, the first tiny bit of information from a different planet in the universe beyond our own tiny little system, and see someone label the effort as having only "minimal benefit to humanity." Short-sighted much?
