its like trying to unlock a combination by trial and error

if its 3 symbols, then its either

ABC, ACB, BAC, BCA, CAB, CBA

the game is actually quite simple, even at its hardest levels. you can get all the clues you need by going through the symbols one by one taking note as to which branches grow and which do not
