MasterPlanz. I hate what is being done to the Palestanian People. God bless Palestine. But it is importaint to note that 65% people in Israel want their government to change that policy. That is a recent development, months ago. Over the last weekend a large group of hasidic jews protested outside the Israeli embassy in Washington. There have also been large scale protests within Israel. I do not denie large portions of the population of Israel support this collective punishment/genocide of the Palestinians. But those elements are being enabled by my government... if it can be called that anymore. Israel lost its soveriegnt to the US along time ago. Some of the primary backers of the genocide are evangelical red neck christians. At the same time some of the greatest advocates for Palestinian rights are evangelical christians. This is a mess. But do not let hate and irrationality sweep you up as it has many others.

After centuries of being at each others` throats, Britain, Germany, France, Italy and the rest of the (now) EU decided they`d be stronger together than fighting each other. Now, barely a generation after that holocaust, the EU is the strongest economy in the world, currently surpassing even the US.

A similar, Middle East Union could do likewise. No one a few decades ago would have thought it was possible in Europe. Few now, except the most imaginative, can see such a thing happening in the Middle East. But the majority of people in the region do want peace, it`s just our stupid leaders that get in the way.

Yes it happened to people a lot like us, but not by a government like ours. No matter how poor you say the American government is or how fast its morals are declining, I can`t see our country succumb to the end result of a Hitler`s germany.

I didnt know that MTV actually supports thinking. If you would think and watch MTV at the same time you`d realise its bullshit.
But its nice to see that at least one TV channel is spreading awareness. Maybe it isnt too late to safe America.
Oh and 7homas do you really think that they would be doing exactcly the same thing to establish a facist government? People are stupid but not that stupid. It all has to happen secretly and not as openly as in Hitler`s times. It would be stupid to think that you can predict when a government turns to facism only when its already too late. You cant tell wether the government is corrupt or not you can only have an educated guess.
