TED Talks - Microsoft`s WorldWide Telesc...

Microsoft showed off a very cool application called the WorldWide Telescope at the TED Conferences in California. Basically the program will take images from a variety of Earth based telescopes and the Hubble space Telescope and allows users to view celestial objects.

WWT might be as popular as google earth but I didn`t learn anything new from the guy.

Why has microsoft released something google already has integrated into GoogleEarth.

I wanna know what the differences are, cuz it seems like one of the two groups has wasted alot of money and hours doing duplicate work.

Google Sky is lame, its only constellations, it goes nowhere near into THIS much detail.

Hopefully when this is released it will have Brian Eno doin the music too lol.

OH and for Space-farers...google a PC game -Spore- its HUGE!
