drzdo Modest Mouse has always made good music except for their last album. Even though a lot of people didn`t like it cuz it was too "pop" i thought it has a few good songs on it like spittin venom or fly in a jar

I think the main reason "We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank" wasn`t as good for the hardcore modest mouse fans was that the changed their main guitarist..... FYI- Ugly Casanova, which was a band they made up when they broke up but pretty much sounds like them with Isac Brock still the lead singer have one Alblum called "Sharpen Your Teeth"...

At first i thought their new album was shit but then i listened to it quite a bit and there are some pretty good songs on there but still not as good as the older stuff. this song, doin the cockroach, and teeth like gods shoeshine are my favorites.
