Jet Ski Rescue - Big Wave Surfing

jet skis are used in surfing to tow a surfer onto a big wave. Another critical aspect of using jet skis is the rapid rescue of surfers that have wiped out and are caught in the break zone.

You should check out the movie "In God`s Hands." It`s all about big wave surfing, and it`s got some of the coolest cinematography I`ve ever seen.

Man - that was intense.

Watching that water come at you from the surfer`s perspective was pretty daunting.

But - 10 story waves? Isn`t that a little - inaccurate?

No 10 stories in not inaccurate at all.
The biggest wave ever measured was formed by a earthquake off the coast of Alaska. It was measured at 1,7200 feet tall.
Also waves in Tahiti and Hawaii can reach heights up to 75 feet.
