^Don`t be an ignorant tool. Ron Paul did not want to `take over the world` like the other candidates, thus his politics is a major plus for Canada as he supports the free trade market, and he is into the anti-globalization trend.

The remaining candidates that the USA has does not promote benefits for Canada. The democrats are threatening to pull out of NAFTA. Canada and the USA are the biggest trading partners in the world. Lumber, energy, and water will all take a big hit if NAFTA gets dumped. That`s a BIG loss, especially to Canada.

Don`t let your Anti-American propaganda cloud your mind; bullshit politics or not, Canada relies heavily upon the US economy. They tank, Canada takes the shithole. And when that happens, be prepared to pay more taxes, as that will be the first to get jacked up.

^Severing ties with america might not be as bad as you think in the long term. Canada has enough resources to sustain itself indefinetly and continue to grow exponentialy. It`s because of these "deals" that our former leaders have thrown together in the past that us Canadians pay so much for oil and electricity when we have tons of it up here heading south of the border (only two of many examples)! If we could cut them out of our finances completely... Canada, one day, would be a better place...or is that me just being ill informed and naive?
My "anti-american propaganda" as you put it is not just there on a whim sir...there are reasons for my dislike and distaste.

it doesn`t matter either way, i just find it frustrating watching something drag on like this for so long (at least it feels like a long time)and knowing that money and corporate will win anyways. Why don`t groups like anon direct thier energy towards getting people off thier couches to vote then? they can get them out to protest on something that affects a minor amount of the population, a crudely small problem in comparison to americas political problems and influences abroad.

I hate dumb-fuck americans. George Bush has fucked things up so much that the people are desperate to put in ANYTHING that`s completely opposite and does not resemble bush in any way, which is why you`re seeing a woman and a black man ahead in the race.

Ron Paul had incredible views that didn`t just appeal to Americans but the WORLD aswell! The common folk are so blinded by the Hilary and Barak being so `aesthetically` different to Bush that they`re ignoring what`s more important.

Can you honestly tell me that Barak or Hilary had stronger views or more revolutionary ideas than Ron Paul?

I`m from Britain and I was behind Ron Paul 100%, I could see a better world with him in power, now that`s gone. I`m depressed.

Paul was an amazing speaker; even though I find him a raging lunatic, he sure could speak for himself.
And even though he never had a chance in hell to become president, I`m glad he dropped out. And so are gays, knocked-up teen-agers, the lives that might be saved by stem-cell research, shooting-victims, poor Americans, and non-Christians/baptists...

That being said I do agree with him on many issues (no death penalty, no patriot act, parts of his drug policy etc.), but all in all I would never vote for him if I had the chance.

And I also agree that the US should get out of Iraq and stop the idiotic "War on Terror" (C`mon, a war against an abstract concept?) as soon as possible. But in my and obviously most others opinions, Ron Paul was never the man to do it.
