Wasn`t expecting much from this movie, because I hadn`t seen Tom Jane in a good movie since 61*, but I thought it was a pretty good movie...

I thought it was a good ending, not that best I have ever seen though

Surprisingly enough, the mist was actually quite a good movie in my opinion. The special effects were amazing to say the least, and honestly, we don`t see these kind of endings anymore. The happy endings are bullshit, this is the kind of stuff that the audience can actually relate to and feel something real coming out of the theater.

Well i`d hardly say the special effects were "amazing," but they really didnt need to be. This movie was great, who didnt love it when the doomsaying bitch died.

my friends father is the storyboardist for the vfx in the movie :P I believe the design of the largest monster walking over the road was his. The effects are pretty damn good for a company that started off doing commercials lol

In the book ending the just drive off into the mist. It kinda pissed me off, but I think it`s one of the most badass endings in a Stephen King book. I first read it about 18 years ago and I still think it`s badass. This ending was just a dramatic/ironic twist purposefully inserted to not piss people off with the books original unresolved ending.
But all that aside... that would suck major balls...

I`f this movie was based in some sort of reality it would have only been 5 minutes long--
because the moment the government realized they fucked up there would be a multi-cluster Hydrogen nuke incoming...Byaaaaaaaaaa!.
