Cop Arrests Fire Captain

Hazelwood, Missouri: A cop wants the firetruck to move and free up a lane of traffic, but the fire captain wants it to stay there and protect emergency workers. The cop arrests the fire captain, but is later fined $18,000 for his absolutely egregious deed.

This stupid cop is not an expert and neither trained in Emergency relief efforts.. He should take classes in listening to firefighters.. in fact I think all police workers should take at least a course about a situation on the highway and needing a shield from traffic-- just take a look at all those videos of police workers getting hit or nearly hit by highway traffic.. emergency relief workers always get their asses hit one way or another witouth taking extra precaution..so definitely the firefighter has a good reason, the cop here is such a moron and should write a letter of apology for being one..

Fined? That cop should have been fired! Cops, emergency workers, and civilians get smeared all the time on the highway when people are pulled over during traffic stops, accidents, or while changing tires etc. Closing the lane, when you can, is absolutely the best option.

Yet another example of a cop who is actually making the world less safe with his antics. He has no business being in uniform...well, maybe a Carl`s Jr. uniform...

^^^^ No clue what you`re saying. The second sentence was focused on the cop and his actions. Therefore, it was he who was fined. Especially when it goes on to say "his absolutely egregious deed." Arresting a firefighter for keeping his fellow brothers safe is a gross dereliction of duty. I think this cop fails to see that the fire fighter is more important to society than he is. We can arm ourselves and keep things in order if we had to, but fire fighting.. that takes a certain kind of person.

Agreed klav, but I think he`d also end up becoming manager, and being a complete DICK to the other employees. He`d end up getting arrested for attempted rape. It seems as though he doesn`t know how to take "no" for an answer..
