I heard a wee bit about this, him and his mate were using those wing suits and they were suppposed to glide over/under the bridge then deploy the parashoot (mental spelling blank).

Obviously one guy messed up and died, and yes, he did alot of madxcore stunts like this etc before the accident. Such a shame :(

The guy being interveiwed is Jeb Corliss, Amazing BASE jumper and probably the most famous one to date! Check his vids out on Spiked or the tube, really worth a watch. The winsuits used are made by a company called www.phoenix-fly.com , again great company and this accident has nothing to do with the products performance. Dwayne pushed the envelope to much and it got him in the end, RIP.

Vegaobscure you tool, you don`t know what you`re talking about, that wasn`t a reenactment, that was real. The people on the bridge were all people from the base-jumping scene who were specially invited to see this. This was a stunt gone wrong (people do tape stunts you know..). FOTH3R is correct, Dwayne Weston was suppose to fly over it while Jeb would fly underneath it.

I`m going to turn this around and say at least he died doing something he loved and enjoyed. It must have been absolutely painless . I imagine he didn`t even realise or suspect it traveling at that speed.The last sight would have been a bridge full of people who loved and support him.
Nevertheless RIP lad.
