When you listen to Ron Paul speak, it becomes clear that he could never be president in this day and age.
Honest politicians can only go so far. I`m amazed that this man maintains a congressional seat considering how defiantly he speaks against the injustices of the American government.
It makes me cry to think that the only hope we have for this country will never be elected; people are mindlessly ignorant and the elite ensures that his message is largely muffled.
A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for justice, but it guarantees nothing.

someone want to enlighten me on why the gold standard is good. From all the history of the gold standard from WJ Bryan, it has never been a popular idea. Indeed it "helped" the farmers back then, but what does it do now?

^^^ having a gold standard makes it so that you cannon create money out of thin air, like the FED does. it used to be an ounce of gold was worth a dollar now an ounce of gold is worth 800+ this is inflation, the value of the dollar goes down and the prices go up.
