What I am not seeing yet with Photosynth is how to delegate the frames. Any building or structure, landscape needs to have reference points or some kind of guide so that automatically images can have recognition to be "Stitched" together. Without that very similar scenes from very different places could end up together. So I don`t see how a virtual planet from Photosynth could be possible, only certain areas with devoted people working on the frames to build them... Would love to see it though.

This is as old as the bump i took last year .. then i took pictures of it and Photosynth them into a 3d land scape, verry artsy .. you can see it if you go to the site and zoom 3.265 inches from the bottom left corner.. ENJOY!!!

Pretty sure it a repost, but it`s Ted so it`s fucking educational and shit, so just upload more if you feel like it.

I tested photosynth and it isn`t very easy to navigate in 3d like in this demo. Like if I wanted to look behind the house or whatever it was I needed to click tons of stuff and most of the times I just ended up in a corner or something. A tool that zoomed out and could than turn the whole dotted model would be REALLY nice, perhaps they have that and I`m just to stupid to find it.

Surely it needs work in some parts but other than that it is fucking amazing.
