im from canada... and ive heard so many stories about the hip... and everyone always say what arrogant pricks the whole band is, but especially gord downie, the lead singer.. i saw them once in a holiday inn bar in ontario and i can certainly vouch for it... a waitress comes over and is about to pass around menus, then gord interjects and says "we will not be eating anything. we only want drinks and we`ve already ordered them"

i dont care what this band is like in real life, the fact that they can write a good song lyrically is pretty amazing, unlike today with the way music is written. i dont think i need to go into details. good clip, good video 5/5
