Its nice vid shows just how good the dev`s on stalker worked as in game looks so much like this vid.

I would love one day to go take alook around there but i don`t think there is a suit made that can with stand such high lvl`s of rad`s yet.

Apparently the radiation there is not so bad, there has even been a bbc documentry about it showing people moving back, not need protection and even eating the stuff that grows there.

It is crazy how well stalker`s team recreated pripyat. Everytime i see it and the sarcophagus, it amaze me how well they could recreate the scene and the atmosphere. 5/5

You can visit Pripyat, but you can only stay there for like half an hour. I would really like to go but it would be so fucking scary, I was shitting myself enough in COD4.

Yeah play on Vista 32, or better yet, on Win XP.

Playing games on Vista is like putting your balls in a microwave. Either way you won`t be having kids.

Although Serial is exaggerating a bit, he`s right. I switched to Vista32 yesterday. 64 couldn`t do a whole lot of stuff.

@kilimanjaro: I`ve seen the BBC documentary you`re talking about. Yes, the area is perfectly habitable right now, but people will never move back in. The women who went back went with the BBC team to show them where they used to live, but she said that she was never coming back again...

I think the documentary was from the BBC Horizon series and it`s called "Nuclear Nightmares". Or was it a special issue about Chernobyl? Hmm...I don`t really remember.

lol i haven`t played stalker but this looked exactly like cod4 to me, but i would hope stalker would do it better... the whole game is there :O
