we still DO have amazing fighters like he was, unfortunately no one gives a shit about the lighter guys and only wants to see heavyweights nowdays.
Watch someone like mosley fight and tell me that`s not amazing (most of the time lol).
I`d love to see the days of Duran/Leonard, or Hagler/hearns, or ANY fight with Robinson come back

I`m stating that there IS a LOT of talent in boxing this day and age, but unfortunately almost NONE in the heavyweight divisions. And there hasn`t been in a long time. But there IS a massive amount of VERY impressive fighters in the lighter divisions. And unfortunately not a lot of people pay attention to the lighter guys. There are plenty of talented fighters, up to and surpassing the skill of Ali living and fighting now. Although not as imposing personality-wise, still as talented physically. THAT`S what I`m "implying". If you knew anything about boxing other than what you see online you`d know that, either that or you`re a fucking idiot.
Thought it was pretty f`ing obvious, but apparantly you have trouble interpreting a very simple sentence.

--here you go to make it a bit more clear for you on the short bus--

Ali was an amazing fighter, but in no way was the "greatest" ever. The only reason he`s called that is because he called himself that. I`d say the greatest showman in boxing yes, in the top ten best fighters ever, absolutely. But the absolute best, no.
Do some research and tell me that`s wrong. There are almost NO reputable boxing historians that regard him as the greatest fighter ever. And that in NO way is saying he wasn`t great, just not the "greatest".

If you want to go by wins vs. losses.. there are far better records out there. If you want to go by "hard luck stories", there are far worse. But one thing he did outclass EVERYONE at, is Charisma! He was brilliant at being who he was - an amazing fighter with a razor wit and a larger than life persona. He stood up for what he believed in, and he was a great human being.

So yes, he was one of the best of the best. But like I said, do some research. Just because another fighter wasn`t quite as personable as he was, it doesn`t make them worse.

I`ve said it before and I`ll say it again.. me (and MANY others) regard Sugar Ray Robinson as the greatest pound for pound fighter that ever lived. Do some research and try to disagree.

So yes, when you "imply" that no "lighter guys" could hold a candle to Ali, you DO sound like a twat.
