Hallucinogenic Musrooms Time Lapse

Watch these Psilocybe Cubensis Mushrooms grown on a bulk substrate on time footage. Normally it takes from the time they are tiny pins (tiny mushrooms) until the time they are full grown about 5 days so thats the time lapse length. I know all this because I am a mycologist. Never the less, it is fun to watch them drop their gills and open the caps. Enjoy

There used to be a shop in copenhagen 7 years ago that sold mushroom soil in a container. all ya had to do was put the container in a bowl of water and keep it very moist. and after 5 days or so they would be ready to harvest and dry :) Unfortunately they would shrink a helluva lot when dried, so you only ended up with just enough for a few trips :) Regardless, watching them grow alone was worth the money. and the trip was pretty freaking decent as well :D Think they were cambodian mushies... meh... cool vid :)

^ actually growing mushrooms is an EXTREMELY careful thing, no outside air can touch them, the soil has to colonize before shrooms will come from it and EVERYTHING has to be completely sterile or they will contaminate and kill you if you eat them.

but yes cambodians are good :D

I`ve always wanted to try shrooms, as well as LSD (real LSD, not street) guess I`ll give it a shot next time in Europe.

had these on the weekend. wonderful trip on the town, everything was seen in a different light but lsd is definately superior in my opinion.

kashshaptu, you`re an idiot. the best mushrooms i`ve ever had weren`t hydro, but grew on a farm not 30 minutes from my house. and they grow in cow shit which, last i checked, wasn`t sterile. my friends and i met this guy who camped out for the weekend just picking all day and ended up with like 5 showboxes full.

^Rofl, i remember the days of wading through patches of manure spread on the fields (Used to live in farm territory) to try and find the lil buggers.
Alas... i found that hunting mushrooms was not my niche. Much better at buying them :)
Dont do em no more though, they can seriously mess you up if you are not amongs good friends.
One bad trip was enough to make me stop. Never hallucinated except on those, i got so freaked out after one session i "borrowed" some random pushbike on the street and i kept seeing people with distorted faces and inflated heads as i drove past, kinda like balloons, freaked me out cuz it was like a zoom effect wherever i looked. And i forgot about the whole red light, green light thing, i was lucky not to get run over :\
Anyway kids :) if you are ever contemplating on whether or not to try them. Do it with a group of good friends if you want to. Not some dicks who will think its funny to make you paranoid like the dipshits i call friends did to me once :D
