Anyone who has kids can attest to how difficult it is to teach a child the numerous idiosyncracies of the human condition. Sometimes we people have to make things more difficult than they really need to be.

funny how difficult it actually is to explain time and I wonder how on earth I figured it out while the 5 kids in my study hall in 11th grade had to learn how to tell the time on a clock because they never knew and they were 16.... tsk tsk

As a kid I always got confused with the fact that each 15mins. is called a quarter. My teacher thought it`d be a good idea to confuse the shit out of us by teaching us how to tell time and learn how to count money at the same time. I hated the fact she would tell us .25 meant a quarter and so did 15. Bitch...
