Jimmy Stewart was actually a Bomber pilot during WWII. Some of his good film:

"The Spirit of St. Louis."
"Mr. Smith goes to Washington."
"Flight of the Phoenix." Not the new one. The new one Sucks.

Stewart is amazing. His early radio appearances as the Six Shooter and on many other shows like Suspense are great to listen to even today. If you are unfamiliar with "Old Time Radio" or OTR as it is often called, search for it online. There is a lot available in all genres and it is almost all public domain so it is completely legal to download and distribute.

"You can`t take it with you" was one of the all time great movies. I think it was made around 1929?
Stewart made several movies which rank among the greatest of all time. A true class act.

That celebraty roast they did with him was great too, that one guy did an amazing impression and Stewart got up and went along with it. Class man. Dogs are really tough to lose because they`re such good and caring companions.

My dog died yesterday...on my birthday. I took her for a run and as we crossed the street (she was behind me a little) a taxi cab just full on ran her over.

The thing that makes me tear every time i think about it is that when i ran up to her i nelt down beside her and said her name, she started wagging her tail even though she couldnt move. I just nelt there beside her directing cars around and yelling for a cell phone to call for help. I wish that i would have talked to her more in her dieing moments just so she could know that i was there with her, or let her see that i was there and told her it was ok.

I know someone is just going to say they dont give a shit but this just seemed like a good page to get it out. Needed to write it down i guess.

This is sad. I had a cocker spaniel named beau that would bite the shit out of people for no reason. It was wonderful. R.I.P. you angry bastard, i still think about you. :`(
