I can relate.. im a cashier and it pisses me off when people come up to the counter talking on their cell phones.. When I ask "Hi, what can I do for you?" they say "hold on a sec" then they talk to whoever it is on their cell phone.. its so fucking rude.. One of these days im gonna go to jail for knockin the shit out of some rude bastard on their cell phone.. Then of course ill post it on spikedhumor :)

This is what I do to listen to music and interact. Buy the headphones that you hang on to both ears, leave one off of your ear. Congrats! You now have one ear for all the music you want and one ear for all those human interactions you want.

<<< cashier too. also pisses me off when they talk on the cell phone. I usually just say as little as humanly possible while they`re there, and get their pathetic "Oooh, look at me, i`m important because i can talk and pay for something at the same time" ass out the store.

If I happen to be on my cell phone when I walk up to a cashier I actually ask the person whom I`m speaking with to hold on. Then I put my phone down and do what I have to do witht he cashier.
