This air car is expected to be in mass production in France by the end of 2008. This can be a major car revolution. Its been hard for some inventors to make new types of cars in the US....so they go to other countries.

USA has already been screwed in the past by the major oil companies with other amazing technology that would reduce or eliminate our dependence on oil. Doubt they`d forget to fuck us over on this one too.

One of the problems is that the range of these cars will never be very far without taking up a majority of the space of the car. In fact, this is the same problem that is being run into with hydrogen fuel cells. Hydrogen can also be stored at 300bar or more and undoubtedly would offers far more energy from the same tank. The advantage with this technology is that the initial costs are far lower. This is no revolution. It can only be a short term solution until hydrogen fuel cells can be economically mass produced.
