Tribute to Schlachtschiff Bismarck

I found this small tribute some time ago, nicely put together.

2 Things

1) I dunno if it`s noobish on spiked, but what is the track they play in the beginning? I always hear it, but never have an idea.

2) Is this part of something? I sincerely doubt they would`ve made such an incredible CGI model of the ship just for that tribute.

The music is Craig Armstrong : The Escape
And I believe that the cgi is from James` Cameron, Expedition Bismarck, a nice docu bytheway.

^hmmm im not sure, but I think the Dogfight serie is more likely to be it though, haven`t seen Expedition Bismarck in years. Can`t find it anywhere, hopefully someone else will upload it here on spiked.

Some time ago I uploaded a documentary about the Bismarck, it`s pretty good, with alot of eyewitness interviews. here is it for those interested:

@alifeva.
Uhhh it was 6 and a half decades ago bud. Kind of obvious that the Allies won. Someone posts a part of a documentary of the Bismarck and no matter how massive and successful and demoralizing it was for its time you still have to remind us the obvious. Bravo retard, bravo.

The Bismarck was a pocket battleship. It was not intended to have a large displacement, but to fit into the criteria of what the Germans were allowed to build at the time. The displacement of any German vessel was strictly limited under the treaty of Versailles. Anyways, this ships bang for the buck, probably the most advanced naval weapon of the war ... given the constraints which governed its size. The Brit ship there at the end is the HMS Hood. My Granddad was on board the HMS King George V when it sank the Bismarck... with about 10 other ships.
