America is and will always be behind the times...it bullshit yes...but look at other countries which had to overcome apartide and they got a black and female (all one person) in the highest office. We had slavery in a relatively small portion of the country and people still have problems with blacks in positions such as senator or representative even for majority black districts....so basically WTF???
