In this clip they make out as if The US are the defenders and the inoccent trying to protect them selves from all the "baddies"

I bet that not the only reason they are experimenting with EMP`s, they would use it in war. White Sands missle range, the military installation is all about defending themselves, yeah right. The US Government need wars to make money, it is the biggest money earner for them.

^ Umm, Wrong ? War is not bad for the economy. All work done by the military and its contractors are American, or almost 99% american so that means all money spent on the war goes into american hands. Aggregate demand rises because of the war and its use of american resources and capital, so REAL GDP increases also, but so does price levels.

This is a small reccession, it`s not even technically a recession and nobody is sure if the GDP growth will even go into the negative range , let alone negative for 2 straight quarters. 2001 recession ( not technically a recession even then) was way worse than what we have going now. This war also isn`t TREMENDOUSLY expensive, IT ISNT. For example, medicare and medicaid are each several times the cost of the war ( not including the standard, always-there defense budget) .

Also, the recession we might be having now IS NOT CAUSED AT ALL BY THE WAR.
The recession is caused by dropping house values. This causes a loss of money and value in two ways:
1. all those huge banks that lent money so people can buy those expensive houses a few years ago are now seeing the money they lent out disappear because the houses are now worth less than they were back then.
2. consumer confidence is greatly affected and reduced because half of a person`s equity is in his or her home. and if they feel their house is worth less, they feel less wealthy and are less likely to spend to drive the economy,

This is what you hear on the news all the time, the " mortgage and housing slump."

The vast majority of the United States military installation is protected against fairly substantial EMP bursts.

An EMP attack large enough to disable a large amount of the United States military would require a nuclear explosion.

A nuclear attack would provoke a nuclear response; in other words forget the EMP the nuclear bombs going off would be a far bigger problem.

The US started the war and called it "war on terrorism". this so called "terrorism" threat in America was unheard of before the government let 911 happen. How many people out there thought iraq and the taliban were a threat to America before 911? no one. The war was made to earn more money for large corporations in America, besides controlling the oil.

They sell their old weapons and military transports to their so called "Allies" Where did Afganistan get their weapons from when fighting Russia? America, now the taliban using them against the troops, so afganistan need more weapons to defend them selves.

Yeah i am gonna get voted down by the people that do not want to believe their own Government can ever be the "bad guys" and only have their own interests in mind.

Help a country? if they wanted to help a country go to Nigeria or Rwanda. Oh wait there is nothing there that is an advantage for the government. America`s Weapon Corporations sell weapons to Africa, and the government turn a blind eye to it because it is making them more money. I aint saying America is the only Government turning a blind eye to the genocide in Africa, but at least they do not supply them weapons.
