I`ve seen this before on tv - It`s from an English comedian. Brilliantly done - captures all the feigned sincerity and mystique of real "serious" magicians perfectly.

Edit: @Murry - I thought it was Rory Bremner. He does sketches like this quite a lot. No need to get defensive. It`s a great sketch whoever it is!

he is a Belgian comedian. Chris van den Durpel.
He has different characters.Daniel Chesterfield was one of them.
