^that surprised me. but astons are damn nice, too, and probably just feel better from inside. Sadly, I wouldn`t know what any car with over 200hp feels like. Now excuse me why i look for some rope.

i don`t know anyone that likes fifth gear over top gear.

It amazes me that both shows exist. I guess its because they don`t run seasons like they do in America with 25 episodes in a season...

Tiff is a great driver, and the cars is also brilliant. What a big surprise that the British guy chose the british vantage....NOT, and its the same with Top Gear, they always choose the british car eventhough european (german) cars are far better, atleast most of the time.

The video editors have nothing on the Top Gear ones, plus they have a liking for Muse it seems. Tiff Needell used to be a pro racing driver so that`s probably why he managed so well. German cars are surprisingly unreliable (namely Mercs), and also immensely dull and characterless. I don`t normally favour Audis but this shits on the Vantage. In fact I don`t know why the Vantage even exists, it`s the poor man`s Aston and is outdone by all its competitors. Pointless.

I loved the R8 as soon as I laid eyes on it. Now I`m even more interested.

Maybe if I start selling drugs and robbing enough liquor stores I can save up enough...

Really like to see what Jeremy says about the R8. Not familiar with Tiff but he seemed to know how to handle it very well. However, we all know Jeremy and we all also know that Jeremy has driven everything under the sun.

Bloodpool - If you try and find some of the recent episodes of Top Gear, the three of them compare BMWs, Mercs and the Audi R8. I think James May was the one in the R8.
