occasianally there is a sound effect. one story in the newspaper said there might be 150 hidden sound effects (not sure about this). randomly these sound effects play when you have played for a long time.

^I have one of these and I have only counted about 6. The idea of the sound effects is that within the bubble wrap in Japan, bubbles in the shape of hearts are randomly placed for anybody who is bored enough to look for them. The strange sound effects were added as a way to simulate the randomness of these heart-shaped bubbles.

I bought one of these while I was in Japan, it cost about 6-8 bucks, and sounded like shit, the only sound coming from the speaker sounded like static, I asked the guy if it was suppose to sound like this and he said yea. So I returned it right away. Maybe if only they made the sound a little better, the popping feeling kind of feels the same.

Most of the sound in the video is from the guy pressing the actually buttons themseves, those ticks in the backround are what it really sounds like.
