I especially love the giant plane in the background. I wonder what they were trying to suggest. Ron Paul 08, plain and simple!

I don`t understand how people can hate this man?

Do they think:
Freedom sucks?
Keeping value of the dollar sucks?
Bringing the troops home from a pointless war sucks?
Looking after America sucks?

Is this what they really believe? Or do they actually agree with Ron Paul, but they just love jumping on pathetic hate bandwagons?

@ zaiyar

Although he might have good intentions, his idealism is impractical.

He`s just not electable.

^Yeah i don`t think he`s electable. But I don`t care. Thats who I believe in, thats who I`m going to vote for. I wish i lived in his congressional district.

Good to see Guilianni`s disrespectful ass not at this debate. And whats with the smirks at 6:50 or so... Are they just impressed by his knowledge?

I know I`m going to take a fall on this one, but anyway:

Ron Paul is all for free markets and no boundaries for bussiness. There are numerous attemps in history to do this, but free markets just don`t run so ideally (ideally ??,hope that is a word). Overproduction, cartels, ecological stress, bad working agreements and so on are all signs of markets going mad. Just look at US today, it is totally run by companies!!

I seem to recall from the dark cornes of my mind that the Brits tried something like privatising public establishments back in the day. Hospitals had same kind of production objectives as private companies. It all went, how should I put this, up the hellokitty`s ass. In the end, money spent on public sector just ended up to the pockets of people conning the system. My advice (like someone would give a toss) is to fix your goverment first, then think about giving a break to the economics.

Don`t get me wrong, I think he is a really cool guy and talks SENSE!

The thought of McCain having more support than Paul is a sad, sad statement upon America. What will it take?

@kumma^^^, it`s not so much that he represents a complete switch to a free market - he could never accomplish that, not the way he`d like to anyway. The congress and senate would not allow that much change.

You are right about corporations running the show right now, they do. This is where Paul would be different, because the corporations are in control only because they have the politicians in their pockets, and they could never get someone like Paul, or any position or office he appoints, to do as they say. He`s the only candidate I see that represents corporations not being in total control anymore.

I was talking to a man a few months ago that said to me he was going to vote for hillary. I tried to convince him to vote for anyone else, dont vote hillary! But, to no avail. He then announce that he would never change his mind because he was going to vote hillary no matter what! I asked him why? Anyone that knows anything about the history of the clintons would think twice about voting for them...at least thats what i thought. He then said, with great pride, "im voting hillary because she has a smile of an angel."

Did anyone else buy a gun because of what they are seeing on tv with this bullshit?

He`s a racist pig thats why he`s SO unelectable.....

The controversial newsletters include rants against the Israeli lobby, gays, AIDS victims and Martin Luther King Jr. -- described as a "pro-Communist philanderer." One newsletter, from June 1992, right after the LA riots, says "order was only restored in L.A. when it came time for the blacks to pick up their welfare checks."

Another says, "The criminals who terrorize our cities -- in riots and on every non-riot day -- are not exclusively young black males, but they largely are. As children, they are trained to hate whites, to believe that white oppression is responsible for all black ills, to `fight the power,` to steal and loot as much money from the white enemy as possible."

In some excerpts, the reader may be led to believe the words are indeed from Paul, a resident of Lake Jackson, Texas. In the "Ron Paul Political Report" from October 1992, the writer describes carjacking as the "hip-hop thing to do among the urban youth who play unsuspecting whites like pianos."

The author then offers advice from others on how to avoid being carjacked, including "an ex-cop I know," and says, "I frankly don`t know what to make of such advice, but even in my little town of Lake Jackson, Texas, I`ve urged everyone in my family to know how to use a gun in self defense. For the animals are coming."
