I am Dutch myself, and I am sure most soldiers are doing their hard job as good as they can.

Still, recently, some Dutch troops somehow managed to bomb a village (with a howitzer), killing a few dozen of innocent people.

Oops.

The Dutch presence in Afghanistan is almost as pointless as the American presence in Iraq. We went to Afghanistan to restore the nation, build school for sad little children and such, but lately, the Dutch soldiers do nothing but fighting off `insurgents`. They try to get in contact with the population of Afghanistan, to gain their trust, but guess what, talking to western soldiers in Afghanistan is a good way to get Hanged by the Taliban.

So. Fuck the Dutch government for letting a lot of soldiers stay their pointlessly.

I dont understand why this is rated so high?

It is just a colloection of picture of the Dutch army being where they do not need a presence. Why is everybody so impressed with this? Why are so many of you so happy to comment on how great is is for the Dutch to be there?

Is it because they are Dutch and you think that anything Dutch is cool?

Is is because of the coffeeshops in Amsterdam?

Is it because you are just happy that it is a video showing that not only the US is stupid enough to be in a pointless war that will only result in greater anti-western sentiment and hightened acts of terrorism?

You ppl make me sad for the future of the world.

I personally rated it a 5 because i support men and women fighting for their government. Even if the said war is or isn`t right. These people fight for our rights and deserve respect. They don`t get to pick the wars they fight in. All we can do is prey that they come home safely.
