slusho isnt really a drink its a viral marketing site for cloverfield, this has to do with cloverfield because slusho is owned by the company tagurato also a viral marketing site and tagurato is supposedly the people who woke up the monster in cloverfield. also if you check Rob Hawkins myspace (each of the charachters in the movie has one) it says he was going to be working as vice president for the slusho company and attempting to bring their drink to the us

imo cloverfield was awsome but the viral marketing is ridiculous.

inmate is right, no need to speculate or ask, just read his comment. i just saw cloverfield, i thought it was interesting to see the perspective of the ppl on the ground in a giant monster attacking a city movie. but i`m the guy who gets sick if i read in a moving car, so the camcorder/blair witch style was nauseating but not too bad. kinda short, not very scary, it`s more about being an intense 1st persion view

for those interested there`s a 4-volume mini manga called cloverfield kishin that takes place before the movie. some ppl are translating it themselves and posting it online but i can`t find the complete set.
