WTC Debris 1500 Degrees 6 Weeks After Co...

Some guys working at ground zero discussing the oven like conditions under the rubble of the world trade center. Seems like when Mr. Tye in his video put a lid on his barrel of fire, the fire was extinguished by design. So how does what is essentially a giant bonfire stay red hot under thousands of tones of debris for 6 weeks?
