Gawd! This man is the biggest loser, the lamest tool you can possibly imagine! He`s like the dolt that sits at the same spot at the end of the bar in a seedy pub, night after night, telling the same worn out tall tales to gullible victims. How can anyone believe this garbage?!

On balance, though, his garbage is no worse than the "official" accepted kind millions of folks get at church. At least that stuff has the weight of posterity to it, for better or for worse. Even if you don`t really "believe" it, some folks like the tradition, the music, the incense, whatever.

But "Scientology"?! I would respect people more for worshiping a TV show, like Trekkies. But the fact that *anyone* at all is sucked in by L. Ron`s garbage makes my waning hope in humanity practically bottom out to nothing...

It`s even worse than Mormonism...and that`s bad.

Most religions are based on mythologies, innacuracies in history, sun worship, plagiarisms of past religions, false prophets and charlatans peddling easy answers for tax exemption while preying on the gullibility of the naive and weak.

But, they are respected and accepted insanities.

However, if you ever needed a socially unacceptable straight out, in your face, obviously ridiculous bullshit lie that make even the other religious believer think you`re more insane than they are.

Then Scientology is for you.

This film shows only a small bit of Hubbard`s insanity. He was a fulltime madness factory, fueled by speed, coffee, etc. Scientology was largely based on Hubbard`s involvement with Aleister Crowley and some of his disciples--in other words, black magic. One of Hubbard`s jokes was the word "Thetan", which was the name he chose for people who reached the ultimate goal of Scientology--"clear". In fact, "Thetan" was a lisped version of "Satan", who Hubbard believed he was, or a chip off the old block.

Hubbard convinced himself that all humans were his slaves, to do his bidding. He would speak "affirmations" detailing his ideals and goals, and this was one of them.

yah, I`m a bit confused about that. Just go to my user`s link, that should clear it up. One of the shoutwire admins cleaned the links into short words rather than addresses (I don`t know how to do that).
