^ Agreed

Just saw this for the first time about a month ago, the directors cut, not the final cut, and I`ve already noticed several new movies that blatantly copy elements from this, but can`t even begin to compare

I`ll say not just one of the best sci-fi movies ever, but best in any genre

Things come full circle though: Rutger died the exact same way in sin city

Why is this crap clip on here?

I`ve seen Blade Runner, and love Harrison Ford, but this movie I LITERALLY fell asleep to. I love Sci-Fi movies, granted not all of them have to make sense, but they have to be entertaining. Please do NOT refer to this as `the best sci-fi fiction movie.` That`s like saying Will Ferrell is the greatest comedian ever...

@CollegeJoe

Have you heard of the saying: If you dont have anything good to say, dont say anything at all?

Live by it and you will do alot better.

"Please do NOT refer to this as `the best sci-fi fiction movie"

Happy to teach someone new in Sci-fi what Sci-fi actually stands for. Sci-fi = Science fiction

Not every movie has to be 100% action. Enjoy a movie for skill in execution sometimes.

Bladerunner was, is, a classic example of a great movie. As said before, one of the best.

LOVE this movie. Maybe I am a freak, but I prefer the version with Harrison Ford`s narration. Anyone else like the "original" theatrical version?

Probably one of the best Sci-Fi`s ever. Amazing the extra things you find out the second time you see the movie.

Slowest movie ever. If you ever wanted to slip into a coma, just watch this movie. Good only in an 80`s sense of good.

One of, if not, the greatest Science fiction films ever made.
There is a lot of symbolism and hard work that went into this film. For that ALONE, it is worth praise.

If you get bored of the film then you are watching it for other reasons. It is deep. It isn`t an action film that is jam packed with guns and girls.

It comments on humanity and it tells a story (something rare in todays film making.)

The man who wrote it, Philip K. Dick, is an amazing novelist in the realm of science fiction. Check him out!!

This is one of the rare examples. Where I`v enjoyed the film more so than the book.

Don`t get me wrong I`m a Philip K Dick Fan.
His story "Do Androids dream of electric sheep" for which this movie is based is a good story I just prefer the movie Blade Runner.

@ collegeJoe you call yourself a SCi -Fi fan yet you dont like Blade Runner ? A big WTF to you sir.

maybe L Ron Hubbard is more to your liking.
