Fucking finally... I already thought there was barely anyone in the States left who knows how journalism actually works - these guys sure do.

How come there aren`t any comments on this one? I can`t be the only one reviewing this... I mean, this is some important stuff.

Btw, I didn`t know Ron Paul was against the UN and the international criminal court... Well, looks like McCain is more popular than him though, at least that`s what I`m getting in Europe.

^Oh, rest assured my countrymen will fuck this up royally. As much as it scares me, I`m envisioning President Clinton. Hey, maybe if Musharraf really acts naughty our president will cry until he gives us what we want.

It is deeply saddening to me, being here in the US, and watching the media complex dismiss Ron Paul wholesale while trumpeting the concept of "frontrunners" with their god damn polls and "predictions". Most Americans are like cattle and will follow the herd because they find it too mentally challenging to think for themselves. It`s sickening!

George Carlin says it best: the last thing government wants is a well-educated populace capable of critical thinking. And they`ve done a damn good job making sure of it.

Im gonna get buried so bad, but everyone needs to stop wanking off to Ron Paul... If I believed everything people said on this site, I would have to conclude that the only saviour of the US is Ron Paul. Well guess what, he isnt... Hed probably be very good in restoring democracy in US (good thing), and getting you out of Iraq (good thing). But making the US isolationistic again simply isnt going to work anymore, and it would not be good for the reputation of the US either.
Dont get me wrong, He`s a very good guy, a good debater, intelligent, and I agree with most of the things he says. Nevetheless, his stance on the United Nations and criminal court is shit.
Any president besides George Bush or some other republican diehard is an improvement.

Nabucco, Democracy isn`t supposed to be the form of government for america because 51% of the country shouldnt have control over 49% of peoples rights. I believe it was republic could be wrong though.

^ Point taken, Ill rephrase: He would be very good to restore civil rights (the basis for any democracy).
Nevertheless, the US profiles itself as "bringer of democracy to the world".

^ Sorry dude, but saving democracy is ambitious enough. The Democrats have surrendered on every constitutional battle. By not doing their job of being a check on the other party in a 2-party system, they have essentially set legal precedents that can and will be used to erode civil rights in the future.

By not impeaching President Bush and his boss Cheney, they have ensured that the Constitution will be overridden as a matter of policy by future presidents. The only explanation for this is that they want these expanded presidential powers for themselves. So both parties have failed us utterly, and the only chance at getting our rights back from the government must come from an individual who has enough character to give back some of that power. Ron Paul is the only actor who is taking these issues head on.

He is giving America a choice, offering an alternative. If America does not vote this man into office, it just means that we no longer care for our democratic traditions, which have survived only through the system of checks and balances the founding fathers envisioned. I call it the Constitution.

George Bush is undergoing steps right now to get himself pardoned from any crimes related to his presidancy.

If an international court would find Bush guilty, it might not be such a bad idea after all...
