It can`t all be cgi. Its hard to tell, grainy video, but theres got to be some real elements there. If not... WOW. Either way sweet planes.

Nice, did you know the mosquitos were entirely made out of wood, which made it pretty fast for it`s size but also at the same time more volnurable.

Also, nice sound effects and pretty good cgi on the flyby part.

hmmm didn`t know it was cgi until i read title. maybe cause of the shaking camera effect and graininess. i heard mosquitos had a lot of firepower and speed but lacked armor and was made of wood like muufley said. history channel said a strafing run had the firepower of a broadside from a small cruiser

Sorry to burst your bubbles, but there wasn`t a single frame in that clip that looked realistic.

There are errors everywhere. You just suck at identifying them.

This guy should be hired to do a WWII movie based on the air war. There aren`t air war movies that are of the "saving private ryan" or "band of brothers" caliber.

The Mosquito wasn`t just made of wood, it was made the same way many plastic model airplanes are made - in two halves. Each side would be built on a jig, and most of the internals rigged then the two sides would be literally glued together.

The truth is, the Mosquito was one of the strongest aircraft of WWII - even though it was made of wood, actually BECAUSE it was made of wood, it was able to withstand huge punishment and still fly.

So not only was it faster than most fighters, it was stronger and more heavily armed. The Mosquito was probably the best aircraft of WWII.
