New Gibson Robot Guitar

the new Gibson guitar that can self tune to multiple tunings. It can even help you fix intonation. Not sure how I feel about this, kinda takes the art away from being a musician and taking time to learn new things for yourself but whatever.

I dont know i also feel like it takes away some of the fun of playing guitar but the intonation mode is really useful... anyone knows how much one of these beauties cost?

Definitely a time saver once you are on stage and need to restring.. But I don`t think you should get one until you have gotten good with tuning (..etc) yourself. Really awesome guitar though.

Wonder if the robot tuners weigh down the neck much? Either way it pretty cool...I`ve been thinking about this (self tuning guitar) for years...Now it`s here.
Also curious just how limited it is with tunings? Like can it tune down in incremental half steps `til like 3 steps down?

Pretty crazy.. i normally do not use more than standard tuning and drop d, so this is not much for me.
A self tuner on my bass, that could drop me a step down in no time would be cool tho
