So long as Ron Paul hangs onto his hypocritical label as a Republican, he will never be president.

Now, maybe he has to play the system a little bit in order to get his foot in the door...but I will never vote for him until he rids himself of any party affiliation, just as I have done.

Angel_of_Odin: Sorry, I cant help you...I`m not allowed to vote in the Republican primary. Again, if you want me to help make him president (which I would like to see) then you are the one that must join me to encourage him to run as an independant.

I will never vote for him as so long as he remains a Republican, period. Apparently, however, he has said that he will not run as an independant when (not if) he loses the primary. That means my convictions are stronger than his.

Oh well, it`s his loss as far as I`m concerned. I`m perfectly capable of taking care of my own affairs despite whatever dweeb people vote into office. My life has remained upwardly mobile no matter who has been president. Yeah, maybe it would get even better with Paul in office...but since the major parties are just in it for the status quo, I don`t have to worry about major changes with them.

^^FUCK both of you who pretend to support Ron Paul, Because you dont even have the concept of belief, if you shared his beliefs you would not care which(or any) party he ran for. The only difference I can see in Republican and Democrat is which "AMERICAN" they target, only differentiated by the words they choose to use and repeat. If he looses, it is for the same reason we are in the situation we are in now, most of the population are completely impressionable IDIOTS.

Wake up and smell the two-party system!!!! Ron Paul never had a chance running as a Republican. The system nor the media would ever allow that to happen.

Mind you, I don`t disagree that most people seem to be impressionable idiots. What you do not get is that I have a staunch belief in independance and that our two-party system needs an overhaul. You don`t overhaul the system by playing their game like Ron Paul is. No, it`s going to take a maverick INDEPENDANT candidate to do that. Heck, Ross Perot almost did it back in 1998. I find it sad that so many otherwise intelligent people can`t figure this one out.

p.s.if you look at the privatized education systems in california you would see that privately funded education is the way to go. private funding drives down costs in a free market economy

@Acer_Vartan: I`m more then willing to listen to both sides of the "Ron Paul issue." So if you can help me out by explaining in more detail your position so that it doesn`t sound like some guy spewing hate for no actual reason and more like someone who knows and understands what he is talking about that`d be great.
