Naples Covered In Trash

City officials can't beat mafia in Garbage Wars. Apparently all city dumps are full and Camorra (Naples version of Cosa Nostra) blocks city's attempts to activate three garbage burning ovens. Result? City is covered in trash, as you can see from this recently shot footage.

Why are they blocking attempts to activate the ovens?

A really efficient way that helps reduce garbage, especially for biodegradable material, is composting. All you need are worms and soil, and a large area, obviously, for Naples. Shred the material, and let the worms do work for you. Keep the soil moist to help worms move and digest the material. Just to put things into perspective; earthworms can eat their weight per day. In one acre of land, there can be more than a million earthworms. Now just imagine a larger area in Naples with, let`s say, 10 acres; this will constitue to about 1 million lbs. of material digested into fertile soil that can then be reused for farming and what not. Not to mention, that worms can produce 900 eggs(cocoons) a year.
