This was very informative I loved it. It helps to take in things like this from time to time and this one changed some of the ways I thought the universe might work. I myself a strong supporter of the idea that particles change when observed. If you don`t believe that its possible go check out the double slit experiment posted on spiked as well. Although if changing particles under observation does hold true then I will need to question the possible existence of god again which I really don`t want to do.

its like one of the basic proofs of mathmatics that some things are unprovable... Though from what he said about energy being burrowed form the future in a void... makes me think whatever outcome is a probability based on a future that doesent exsist yet....

The more we know, the less we know.

It`s facinating thinking about the answers to these questions that are posed... but more incredible is thinking about the strangeness, and the sheer amount of new questions that will be posed by the answers.

Imagine how mind bending the current questions and theories are... then imagine that the situation we have now will seem quaint and simplistic to those a hundred years in the future. I appologise for referring to a linear, direct future, especially after having just watched a video on quantum strangeness, but my brain is primitive, and a more accurate discription is just beyond me.

theoretical physicists and giant orgies??? unpossible! the thing i don`t like about many bbc docs are that they just show trippy images that don`t really go along with the narrator, and they use weird music. then the narration itself is mostly storytelling and don`t explain stuff to you, well, we probably wouldn`t understand anything anyway. meh. was the appearing and disappearing particles in vacuum the basis of zero point energy? crazy physics stuff. i wonder where physicists get funding from. it`s not like physics makes money. maybe in things that apply to technology but not theoretical physics. probably need a lot of grants and stuff from organizations that support purely academic research
