Awesome footage! The Allies were lucky the Germans didn`t have these playes a few years earlyer (and so few), they were almost undefeatable in the air. Most of these planes were destroyed while they were on the ground due to fuel and pilot shortages.

Only it`s strange to see they censored the swastika on the tail, thats like denieing history..

Panther13 Yeah I find it ridiculous that the symbols on these planes are not shown. I`m not sure why they do that, but it may have to do with the fact that this plane will fly in airshows. So in much off Europe publicly displaying the swastika is illegal so they would not be aloud there.

Was this the Berlin Air Show? A student of mine showed me some footage of the ME-262 that flew in Berlin not too long ago. I don`t know how often people get a chance to see these things in the air these days.

And, yes, while the censorship is odd for non-Europeans to see, considering the massive destruction and almost unfathomable loss of life due to Nazi-ism, banning Nazi symbols isn`t hard to understand.

Of course, all things being equal, crucifixes should probably be banned, too. I`m all for that...

Always been a fan of these beautiful planes. If Germany managed to get these in full circulation (I`ve read/heard rumours about the ones that did make it into service being fitted for the wrong type of operations) it would have made a huge impact.
