^vega slick rick was 10 when he moved to u.s. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slick_Rick and sorry to tell u this when he was ten he wasnt listenin to european rap it was 1975. if he hadnt come to america he probably wouldnt be rappin. but he did and he has had a huge influence on rap, his songs are sampled all the time too
