The Living End is right, American Civil War musket didn`t have all that much recoil....she just doesn`t know how to handle it.

And regarding the descriptive caption...American Civil War muskets weren`t flintlock, most were percussion-capped

My old neighbor had a black powder rifle, and ive heard high caliber rifle shots as well but that damn black powder rifle was something else. The roaring boom that thing let out, you could feel the concussion of the shot pass through you.
