Sammy is a Great guy and a very good player, however I would say Daniel is a better player-actually one of the top 5 best players in my opinion.

the move for farha was a re-raise. negreanu was talking way too much for a person confident in their hand. people who are confident in their hand let their chips do the talking for them because they dont want to give away anything about their hand. someone who is bluffing will usually try to talk up their hand to compensate for its shortcomings.

Matty, I wouldn`t say that holds true of Negreanu. I am pretty sure Farha was aware of the "way too confident=bluff" theory; however, Negreanu isnt one of those rookies and is a pretty deceptive player. He could be using this over-confidence in order to deceive Farha into raising.
That`s what Farha was expecting.

devil, i still say he should have re-raised. if you watch again, daniel hesitates when he sees his cards after the flop. a hesitation tells me that he did not see the 9c he was expecting (i assume he really thought he had Qc/9c, instead of 9c/10c). his pause comes when he is forced to then figure out what he actually has.

Yeah, I agree he should have re-raised to really find out what Negreanu had, but put yourself in Farha`s position:
Opponent is known as aggressive, plays decent hands and has the guts to show one card. What if you raise and he goes all in, as he has done a couple of times?
And MOST IMPORTANTLY, bear in mind he might know you don`t have anything.

True, a reraise would seem to be a logical move, but would you really do it in a situation like that, when you don`t even have ace?

funny listening to all these `experts` on poker. There is no official tell for bluffing at this level. Any stereotype you can think of doesn`t mean crap, these guys have seen it all and can impersonate it all. The guy simply had a choice between folding and NO ONE knowing whether he fucked up or playing and potentially being humiliated. It wasn`t a huge pot so he folded. But hey I`m not an expert.

another great hand by negreanu....i don`t gamble too much but when i do go to casinos i play hold em` because that`s all i know how to play really... im 21 but look like im 12 so i think that plays to my advantage

Well Farha had nothing anyway. Pair of 9`s(FLOP) and K,Q = Nothing. He was just winning by a kicker and daniel may well have had a 9 for all he knew, good bluff by daniel though.
