David Sedaris born December 26 , 1956 in Binghamton, New York. He is a Grammy Award-nominated American humorist and radio contributor. Very funny guy with a unique style of writing. I recommend reading his book "Me Talk Pretty One Day" or "Naked". I have another funny clip of him if you guys want also.

I was going out with this chick that was always pretentious about me smoking a cigar maybe once a month. I got sick of it so I took up chewing tabacoo even though I hated it. Take that anti-smokers.

What people dont realize is that the "dont smoke" mania hit when the courts were dealing out large settlements for the deaths of smokers. Of course if you smoke its going to shorten your life span. Smokers have known this forever. But it doesnt change the fact that states and greedy smokers could now sue for big money. That is the only reason all of these laws are in place so recently. If California gets a big settlement from a tobaco company then they better pass a law to make it look legit. its not because California just wanted some supplimental income. Give me a break. You hear about cases where somebody smokes for 40 years and dies of lung cancer and then the family sues. He knew what was going to happen and now all the family wants to do is cash in.

Tell you what mate....Obviously your not American by the whole "mate" comment. In America they are cracking down on smokers like all of them are nazis. They are trying to pass a law in California that you cant even smoke in your own car if you have a passenger. What does this mean in retrospect? More money for lawsuits. Its not a soap box that I`m standing on.....its called oppression for more money. These things tend to travel so beware.

It was funny I admit, but since I have to suffer everytime I walk out of a public building and every dumb smoker stands right next to the entrance/exit I think smokers should be made to suffer a lot more. It´s not a non-smokers choice to get smog in their lungs. If the hospitals stopped treating smokers for all of their smokingproblems that would be a good trade me thinks.
