^^^Don`t be sorry this was made to poke fun at those that give very little, but feel like they`re giving the world. And a lot of the money tooken in by these foundations goes more to the management, then the actual kids. There are some good ones out there, so choose wisely, and maybe consider bumping your donation if you can afford it.. :)

Although the poverty and suffering is tragic, much of it is self-inflicted by the parents, and a little humor like this clip can help illustrate a point.
A man in Bangladesh has an acre of land to farm for his family. He then has 6 children and has to divide his acre 3 ways for each of his sons to inherit. If you spare two children from starvation they grow up and have 8 more malnourished children. When does it stop? Offer the parents a bonus for being sterilized. Then there`s an economic incentive not to bring more suffering children into poverty.

10 cents for a bow? I wish I had seen this before Xmas, I would have donated a bunch to myself to wrap presents. Around here they cost about $1.50 a piece. And really, who would give a poor kid as a Xmas gift?
