^yeah this would be way more impressive on a bigger screen, or with better definition.
I`d consider myself savvy with most aircraft and other military equipment, but it was too hard for me to really track what they were all doing without being able to distinguish what i was looking at. the script stole a lot of its authenticity too.
still... that`s my dream job right there, and we all owe a lot of respect to those guys. Every hard turn requires more physical exertion to stay awake than the typical person would use to exercise in a day.

i always considered the f16 more built for aa combat anyways, the f15 can carry a larger payload and is therefore more of a multi purpose fighter-bomber

Well it`s not like the Pentagon would have released the video had the result been any different..
given that e.g. those jets are serious merchandise and that in the end, it`s the pilot`s experience tipping the scales.

The only major diff in a guns only turn fight with these two is the climb rate of the F-15.. in 59.38 seconds it would be @ 39,370ft not bad considering the graph I got the info from had the Apollo moonshot times.

F-16s are designed to arm and take off fast, consume less fuel, move fast...in other words, it would be the cheapest air unit in the game. F-15s would be the middle unit, and would fuck the F-16 out of the sky at long range.
