I was like: WTF, this is a Seat commercial and there`s only a Fiat and an MG in it...
Then i remembered Seat only re-makes cars produced elsewhere (mostly VW, didn`t know the like Fiat too).
I actually expected the guy in the MG to crash - would have been funnier.

FlavTheApollo, first that`s a Seat, a Seat Panda like the commercial says you nitwit. Second, seat doesn`t remake cars, it`s a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group just like Audi, Skoda, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini and volkswagen itself. It`s a brand on it`s own. So don`t talk like you know cars cause you know SHIT.

It`s just the fact that they don`t believe the car will go as well under a different badge. It`s like Ford calling the Five Hundred a Mondeo in England. VW just decided to put the Seat badge on it, most likely because thats what the locals are used to.

Only that the Five Hundred isn`t a Mondeo. The Five Hundred is a Taurus. They ditched the name "Five Hundred" by the way since they weren`t selling cars for jack and went back to Taurus. The current Mondeo that is sold in England isn`t sold in the US. However, I`ve read that the next generation Mondeo will be available state-side. Roughly 2009.

^ It`s true, the Mondeo in Europe was called the Contour in NA, but it got canned in ~2000 when the Mondeo got a facelift into it`s 2nd generation. The Five-hundred is a beast almost the size of a crown vic- there`s nothing like it from Ford in Europe that I`ve seen last time I was there.

Muufley you retard. Check your facts. The Seat Panda is just a re-badged Fiat Panda, and it later was renamed Seat Marbella. There are only a couple of cosmetic differences between the two, like between Vauxhalls and Opels.
