Damn you! I so want to see this movie. Omega man was an awesome film, and I want to see how they went with this adaptation. But I got a fucking final on Tuesday and another one on wens. >_<

my last exam was today
phew.. lol

my sister saw it on friday
i read the book first and i gave it to her
she didn`t like the movie after reading the book
(why am i not surprised)

there are major differences like..

in the movie robert neville is an authoritative and educated figure, in the book his ordinary nature makes his survival more dramatic and humane.

in the book the woman that shows up is a vampire, in the movie she`s a human...

in the book, its not in new york..

in the movie, he kills himself .. with a nade
in the movie there are other survivors (more like a resident evil or dawn of the dead establishment)

still, not trying to say its a bad film, its just that they hollywood-nized it and cranked it up

but i still recommend for the scenaries and other bonuses

besides, will smith is a great actor.... honestly

Literally this movie made me cry, not that im a lil bich or anything but i too have a dog that i care for a lot. but this movie is very epic, havent read the book but will probably read it

Loved the movie, it was amazing...will smith was great which is sort of expected...my gurlfriend ofcourse cried in all the right spots...so i guess no harm down in hollywood-anizing it a bit...recommended for all to watch! :D

28 days later is crap compared to this. If you want to watch this movie you need to watch it in the theater I recommend it because watching it all fuzzy doesn`t give you the same excitement like in the theaters. Thanks Great movie 80 thumbs up.
