Thanks for the excellent post. I wish more people would wake up to the FACT that there are some serious and hard questions left to be answered. This clip is one of the most factual and direct demonstrations of why that is so.

I, nor most anyone else, can possibly claim to know what shit went down on Sept 11, but we know two things for sure:

1. What the US government says is filthy fucking lies.

2. We NEED to have the truth. There are probably some executions in order for treason and murder. Hopefully public ones.

While I encourage people to continue questioning this, the people (like me) who live in this neighborhood always find the Building 7 controversy to be the most baffling.

- Building 7 has (and, in the reconstructed building, has) the electrical substation that provides electricty to my condo (Liberty st./South End Ave) . . . (if you don`t know where this is, you might not be fully 9/11 informed, FYI).
- Building 7 was not brought down by fire, but by the explosion of the gas tanks in the first few floors of the electrical substation (brought on by fire cause by the collapse and debris from the North Tower).
- Because the building collapsed from the exploding substation gas tanks, it might appear to some similar to a controlled demolition.
- Those visitin Ground Zero NYC can see in the new "Building 7" building that the first 10 floors aren`t occupied, and look odd because of the steel reinforcing around the elecrtical substation (a post-9/11 design, to prevent someone from targeting the substation to bring the building down).
- Many buildings were thought to be collapsing that day. (1) The Millennium Tower hotel on Fulton/Church, (2) the Royal Bank of Canada building on Liberty/Church, and (3) my home on Liberty/South End. Many people were cleared away from those buildings because they thought they would either come down, or they might have to bring them down themselves so make the site safe for rescue workers. It was a crazy day, people, and people clearing folks away from the site (or saying they might need to bring buildings down themselves) was not totally crazy.

Continute to question, but be careful not to allow our current hatred for our leader Bush to let us abandon Achem`s razor.

One INTERESTING THING you might check out if ur visiting ground zero is why folks that day thought the Liberty/Church building was going to collapse (Royal Bank of Canada building, with the 1st floor Brooks Brothers (which, along with the Burger King, was a morgue/triage center on 9/11 & after)). It turned out to be structuraly perfect. But, because people were confused that day, and because the girders going up the outside of the building APPEAR to bend (it`s an optical illusion), some folks thought the building might collapse. Optical illusions even influenced people in the craze of 9/11.

If you`re visiting Ground Zero - stop by and say hello to me after you`ve walked around the site. Or at last walk out to Battery Park and peer out the river to the Statue of Liberty (best views in Manhattan). It will be time better spent than buying the (illegal) 9/11 souvenirs from the street hawkers, the crazy old guy with the flute playing "America the Beautiful", the folks trying take your picture and sell it back to you, and the conspiracy theorists who try to evangelize at the site - all totally disrespectful at this damaged place.

Three buildings on the same day!You want us to belive the gas tanks exploded!!!!I call BULLSHIT!!Although i`ve never heard your theory before, it`s a theory that has no weight.
Those fires you speak of that were "supposably" caused by debri,are debunked by the video,clearly shows fires no where near those "gas tanks".
The planes that hit wtc 1&2 had jet fuel in them.I know that burns hotter than natural gas.
The tell tale sign from the video is the penthouse dropping in before anything else.For this to happen.ALL main support beams must cut.
The explosion from this "gas tank",does not have sufficient force to cut all support beams.

The gas tanks are (and were) in the bottom of the building - the first ten floors. The fire in/around those v large gas tanks (and the resulting explosion) were what brought down the building, by most accounts. There were no fires? in the Sollie building? And you can tell by that video? Not sure I can believe that either - the entire area, and surrounding blocks were in flames (including the shorter tower buildings right in front and southeast of Building 7 - but you`ll know that, as a disciplined researcher). And, the fires remainded lit for months afterward. You will also remember, because of careful research, that the 9/11 towers debris stood 8-12 stories about the ground, that Building Seven was directly northeast of the North Tower, so the south part of Bldg 7 was likely waist deep in flaming debris as well).

But your argument might work better, from a different angle:
(1) There were FBI offices in Building 7, as well as the NYC disaster management headquarters (it`s where Guiliani amd Kerrik were until just prior to the South Tower collapse).
(2) One might guess that (since everyone in and around those buildings knew about the substation - it was a principal concern for Citibank/Sollie`s building safety plan - and for Moody`s today, the new primary Bldg 7 tenant) that someone "encouraged" the gas tank explosion ex-post-facto to cover up something in either the FBI offices or disaster management office.

I find it hard to believe that conspiracy theorists claim to have all the answers, but dont seem to have the most basic facts, THAT COULD HELP THEIR ARGUMENT (e.g. the substation/gas tanks), at their ready disposal. It leads me to believe the folks aren`t doing their research, and (if I am following the scientific method correctly) makes me question their methodology entirely (their methdology, but NOT their passion).

First let me address this,if you can tell me,which specific floor was this "gas tank" on?
I never said there was no fire.The fires i can see from the video were not intense fires.
To say there was enough fire to destroy those tanks is alittle far fetched.

All the hours of footage and testimony i`ve researched i`ve never seen or heard "the surrounding blocks were in flames".

Again no one has footage or testimony of this "flaming debris" you speak of.

I understand your questioning things but it sounds like you got your mind set.

If there were infact tanks in that building they would have been re-enforced with enough material to hold the blast. No building code would ever allow that much of an explosive force to bring down a building, and not have it contained somehow. Because if this is the case, how many other buildings are sitting on this much gas, and it would make the supposed terrorist`s job so much easier, for they no longer have to rely on planes to bring down buildings, but instead sneak down to the basement and ignite the tanks, to bring down a building. Look at almost all of the users here on Spiked, few if any have there location in their handle name. You however do, and always` come up with this BS, on these videos`. My conclusion is your a shill for the gov`t to debunk any theories, or questions` other than the official explanation on the events that occured on 9/11. If you researched me, here you`d know I`m a big HOMO and GAY RIGHTS ADVOCATE, with far more focus on civil rights and arty stuff than on 9/11. I only like 9/11 conspiracy stuff because I see it everyday day. Again, poor research.

As for a rebuttal, the tanks may have been reinforced, but likely not enough to withstand the stress/pressure/heat/possible puncture from a 110-story building falling next door.
