@blomination, Danzel does a amazing job in all of his movies. I don`t give a shit, vote me down. But I will be honest, his performance in John Q made a tear run down my cheek.

American Gangster is more serving of cliche crap.
I`ve seen this story more times than I can count.
"BUT JAYNE ITS BASED OFF A REAL PERSON! TRUE STORY!"
I don`t care. I was underwhelmed. A real overrated, over-hyped movie of `07. (I`ll be honest, a lot of movies this year stabbed me in the heart.)
Seriously though, the Departed managed to get my attention. And that was some overrated drama in itself.

I hated Denzel in Training Day and he bored me yet again.
I could blame Ridley and the bland script, but meh.

Russell was baldy miscast in the film.
Ridley needs to stop teaming up w/him.
You`re NOTHING like Scorsese + DeNiro. So quit it.

GOOD movies: Heat or No Country for Old Men.

Based on a true story = Using the same names and place but changing key facts whenever necessary.

Oh and if you want to see the mis-cast of the century. Look at Tom Cruise in, "Valkrie."

Holy shit that was fucking awesome.. though, once again as I stated before.. while shooting a scene for the movie John Q, Denzel Washington stepped on my foot, looked at me.. then looked away and continued to walk... I joined the KKK and became a Nazi the next day!
