^^Actually if you see someone being wrongfully assaulted by a COP you can use reasonable force to stop the assault. Just like the police can use force to stop an assault. A citizen can use force on a police officer to stop a wrongful assault. If you plan to do it make sure you can win though, and make sure you have witnesses.

Police are right to expect compliance with the law in a non-violent manner.

Police have no right to expect arbitrary obediance.

Police are trained to deal with the difference, and persuade reluctant, angry, confused, and defiant individuals. And should people get violent, police are trained in defense.

Before tazers, there was a large threshhold of force and/or danger required to get a police person to cross over the line from persuasion and management, into forcefull control of a situation.

The problem with tazers is that they give police a torture device that is too easy and clean to use. It`s too easy to cross the line from persuation and management, into force.

This allows police to expect, demand, and obtain complete obediance, without the price of true martial control. And as a result, police learn more and more to expect and demand complete, total, and instant obediance.

Tazers are a facist dictator`s best friend. They let you train the cops to go by obediance instead of lawfulness. And we all know that cops are bad ad understanding law when they are on thier feet. Then you slowly shift policy, so the cops demand more obediance, to principals much further from the real law.

Facist police state, here we come.

Total immediate obediance to police, is a repugnant idea, contrary to dignity and freedom.

If you mess with a cop withs a gun you are a fool and deserve all that happens to you.

If a cop says "jump" I might ask how high? BUT I JUMP.

If he`s wrong I sue the arse off him and his department later.

I`ve met some cool cops and then I`ve met alot of dickhead cops. You can`t blame the cops fully for being dickheads because this is proven human nature. It was either yale or stanford that did the prison gaurd test. They split the subjects into two sets. Prisoners and gaurds. Some would have friends on the other side of the test. They put the subjects into their environment for a certain amount of time and guess what happens. You guessed it. Power currupts.
